PRIVACY STATEMENT

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Only authorized employees within our company, on a need to know basis will use any information collected from individual customers. We are constantly reviewing our systems and data to ensure the best possible service is provided to our customers. The Data Protection Act 1988 makes is an offence for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to taking the appropriate action.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such, any Client information recorded concerning the Client and their respective Client Records may be passed to third parties. However, Client records are treated as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our suppliers and if legally required to do so, to the appropriate authorities. Clients always have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Client Records we keep. We will require to be given reasonable notice of such a request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Client’s with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

PET POLICY

Here at the Royal Hotel we do not have any rooms that are pet friendly. Please note that guests travelling with dogs (guide dogs) will be charged an additional £20 per dog per night.

PAYMENT

Cash and all major Credit/Debit Cards are all acceptable methods of payment. Our Terms are payment in full on the day of arrival.  Any outstanding payments on departure should be paid in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Minimum 48 hours notice of cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, or phone, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing.

GROUP BOOKINGS

We regret that we do not take group bookings in our busy season.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information set out in our website, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to amend or cancel any offers featured at any time.  MacLeod Hotels Limited will not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond our control such as fire, failure of gas or power supplies, technical problems, bad weather, or cancellation to any accommodation which arise as a result of such events.

Anyone under 18 years old has to be accompanied by an adult.
